We take work from individuals as well as businesses. If the job is well defined, the size of the client is not the deciding factor.
How we price
Per project. A custom build has an end, so charging monthly for it creates the wrong incentive on both sides. You get a scope, a quote and a handover. Ongoing maintenance, if you want it, is agreed separately rather than renewing by default.
The four things that actually move a price are your data condition, the number of systems involved, how low the acceptable error rate is, and who maintains it afterwards. That is set out in full in what an AI project actually costs.
You own what we build
Code, prompts, artefacts and data belong to you at handover. We write it so that a competent developer can pick it up without us, and we document it as a deliverable rather than as a favour.
We will tell you when not to build
Some problems are better solved by a well-designed form, a shared spreadsheet or a phone number. When that is the case we say so during scoping, before anyone has spent money. Turning down one project costs us an invoice; delivering one that gets abandoned costs the relationship. See when you do not need AI.
How a project runs
- Scoping. What the person does today, what a wrong answer costs, and how you would know it worked.
- Data review. We look at a real sample before quoting, because data condition is the largest cost driver.
- Quote. A fixed scope and price, with the running costs stated separately.
- Build and review. Working software you can try, not status reports.
- Handover. Code, documentation and access, all in your name.
