What makes something a Soukely product
A product has to meet three tests before we commit to it. The problem has to be specific enough that a general tool cannot solve it. The people affected have to be reachable, so we can watch real usage instead of guessing. And the work has to be repetitive enough that the same tool serves many of them.
Kateb passes all three. Algerian notarial practice runs on codified rules that a general model does not know. Notaires are a defined profession we can talk to. And every office does the same categories of act, week after week.
Kateb, the first one
Kateb is a decision-support and drafting assistant for Algerian notaires. It covers conversational research on Algerian legal texts, act drafting, document checklists, dossier tracking and fee calculation. It is in beta and currently free to use.
It is a support tool, not a replacement for professional judgment. Every output is verified by the notaire before it is used, and the product is designed around that expectation rather than against it.

How the product track is built
The engineering standards behind our products carry across everything we ship:
- Retrieval before generation. The model answers from source texts we hold, not from memory. See stopping a model from inventing a citation.
- Verified citations. References are checked against the corpus index before they are shown.
- Designed refusal. When there is no basis for an answer, the tool says so.
- Bilingual by default. French and Arabic in the same document, handled properly. See French, Arabic and one document.
What is next
More products are planned under the Soukely umbrella, aimed at other Algerian professions where the same pattern holds: codified local rules, repetitive document work, and no tool built for the specifics. We will announce them when they are real rather than when they are planned.
